  1. Hello :) This looks like a totally awesome giveaway.

My favorite romance ... Hmm. That's really tough. I think that I would have to go with Night Play by Sherrilyn Kenyon. I really loved Bride and Vane's story and it's one that has stood the test of time for me. I just re-read it about two months ago and enjoyed it just as much in 2011 as I did when I first read it in 2004. For me it's definitely one of the books on my keeper shelf.

    Anyway, my e-mail is:

isis_willowsong (at) hotmail (dot) com .

I've been going through a contemporary phase recently, so if I win I think I'll go with Bet Me.

Good luck to everyone who enters! :)

  4. @Kathy Ann: what a great answer! I haven’t read Sherrilyn Canyon’s books, I know I started Dark Hunters series but I think I got sidetracked halfway through book 1 and never picked it up again. Your comment made me want to go back to it though. She’s a very prolific author, that’s for sure. How many books does she have? Her backlist is incredible, and a bit daunting to be perfectly honest… Thanks for stopping by and good luck!

@Jet: Lover Awakened is Zsadist’s book right? That’s my favorite book in the series by far, although I kind of lost interest around book 6 or so. But that book was incredible, I love Zsadist and Bella, such a romantic book! Good luck in the contest!

@May: I haven’t read anything by Nicole Jordan. This book you mention is a historical romance, right? I need to look it up, I haven’t read a decent historical in a while… Good luck and come back soon!

  5. Oh damn! You picked the hardest question of all! This may be a very long post then...BUT I'll keep it short if I can. Out of the books you're offering you have two of many of my fave authors. Nora Roberts/JD Robb and Nalini Singh. I think my favourite book of all is probabbly....Lover Eternal by J.R. Ward. But that changes.

My favourite book releases this year SO FAR has been Archangel's Blade by Nalini Singh which I WON RIGHT HERE! (Thanks Brie!) Reminds me a little of Z from BDB. And Belong to Me by Shayla Black which was just released last week!

ok, that's it for now! Thanks for the giveaway!

  6. Hi Annie!

This year I have read many great books, but one of my favorites was Attachments by Rainbow Rowell, it was such a sweet and original story told through emails and the hero’s POV, I loved it!

I liked Archangel’s Blade but I had many issues with the ending so I kind of have mixed feelings about it… Right now I’m reading the Angel of Darkness Anthology that has a novella set in the Guild Hunters’ universe, I haven’t read it yet, I started with Meljean Brook’s story and now I’m reading Ilona Andrews’ one.

Maybe your good fortune remains and you’ll win this giveaway as well! Good luck and thanks for stopping by!

  12. @Jennifer: The Unsung Hero is a great choice! It’s the first book on one of my favorite romantic suspense series ever. The hero is dreamy and it has a couple of secondary stories that are sweet and heartbreaking.

@Jeanne: Nora Roberts is the best right?

@Kara: Dragon Bound was one of my favorite books of the year! I’m about to start Serpent Kiss right now.

@scottsgal: I haven’t read anything by Debbie Macomber but I’ve heard great things. I have a bit of a love-hate relationship with Linda Lael Miller’s books though, some I loved, but a couple of her heroes I have found to be very unlikable, but there’s a book for everyone right? Thanks for stopping by!

@Jel: Oh! I watched the movie but never read the book, Nicholas Sparks is just too dramatic for my taste, lots of crying involved LOL!
Good luck to all of you!

@Mariee: Anne Stuart is the queen of bad-boys, oh her heroes are amazing! I literally read all of her books back-to-back when I discovered her books. I hope her next book is a contemporary suspense.

@miki: International giveaways are the best because no one gets left out! Dragon Bound was a great book, I can’t wait to read more about Dragos and Pia. We did an interview with Thea Harrison, in case you want to check it out.

@Proserpine: Julianne MacLean writes historicals right? Another author I haven’t read yet. I see you’re a PNR fan, at least in your case I have read a couple of the authors you mention: Kresley Cole, Jacquelyn Frank and Alyssa Day. Three out of five is not bad!

@Francine: you’re the second Notebook fan! For me this is a shameful case of I watched the movie instead of reading the book… :-D

@Grace: I have the same problem, I keep finding books that I love and my favorites list keeps growing, but I guess that’s a good problem to have…

    Acheron by Sherrilyn Kenyon

    meandi09@Yahoo.com

    ReplyDelete
  40. There is no one favorite. Its too hard. Especially since it also totally depends on which genre in romance you are talking about. One of my all time favorite authors though is Nora Roberts.

    bacchus76 at myself dot com

    ReplyDelete
  41. @Jennifer Mathis: I started reading Kenyon’s books because everyone was talking about Acheron, but I never quite got into the series, I might have to pick it up again and give it a second chance!

@donnas: I asked the question in general so people could choose any book from any subgenre, but I agree with you, it’s really hard and I would have answered the same as you with an author instead of a book, and I probably would have said Roberts as well!

    ReplyDelete
  42. I found this one so easy to answer! My favorite romance is Perfect, by Judith McNaught.

    jennhutson3128 at yahoo dot com

@mnjcarter: I so know what you mean! I can’t go near a bookstore because I go crazy and star buying books!
