It's one of my favorite YAs of the year so far, in part because both Devan and her mother were such interesting characters. I really liked to see a story equally focused on making the adult characters just as complex and important to the plot. Ditto for Trish Doller's book, which doesn't come out until September (I think) but also features adult characters who are layered and have substance. <br /><br />And if you only read one of the books in the list, pick Raw Blue.
