I think it was handled very well but it`s a bit of a leap of faith, for Gabby and for the reader. I don't like cheaters but in this case it works and by the end of the book I was able to trust him just as much as Gabby did.Briehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01694232807189281284noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4861127753744077469.post-6021086429800051062012-03-27T16:21:44.130-04:002012-03-27T16:21:44.130-04:00Hmmm, I was somewhat intrigued by this book until ...Hmmm, I was somewhat intrigued by this book until you mentioned Gabby's fiancé cheated on her with her own half-sister. You've been cheated on once before; why would you get involved with another (different) man who has cheated in the past?

I'm on the fence with this book. LOL

Thanks for the review!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4861127753744077469.post-86787051349048453972012-03-21T16:26:22.701-04:002012-03-21T16:26:22.701-04:00Yeah, I don't like that he's older ^_^; Yo...Yeah, I don't like that he's older ^_^; You say that he's 45, right? I usually like the heroes to be maximum 40 I guess... ^_^; but then, it depends on the storyline and what they want in life. If he's not looking to have kids, then it might work :) But I can see that his age here would really give him the maturity and acceptance of what he did.nathhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02626894830238717124noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4861127753744077469.post-64444391518726942192012-03-20T20:38:50.576-04:002012-03-20T20:38:50.576-04:00When you say you're not sure about the age do ...When you say you're not sure about the age do you mean that you don't like that he's older or that you don't think his age has anything to do with his maturity and acceptance of what he did? I think the age helps make it more believable for the reader because being older means more time to grow and learn. Also, he comes to terms with it by himself and not because he suddenly finds love.

I think you will like this one, it's a different story so at least I can't complain about another unoriginal romance! After reading your review, I think I'll be adding it to my TBB list :) I'm not sure about the age, but I can see a character like Jamison growing and realizing his mistakes. It'd really be interesting ;)nathhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02626894830238717124noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4861127753744077469.post-7487481814687970842012-03-20T11:21:54.164-04:002012-03-20T11:21:54.164-04:00I am putting this book on my TBR list... The heroine stops complaining about her weight halfway through the book because her attention focuses on the hero, and she also gains more confidence. Great story, I think you will like it Jade!Briehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01694232807189281284noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4861127753744077469.post-46500390235679336182012-03-19T13:55:01.371-04:002012-03-19T13:55:01.371-04:00This sounds like a sweet story of love and redempt...This sounds like a sweet story of love and redemption for these two characters. I have to admit I'd also be annoyed if the main character constantly complained of her weight. I'm interested in knowing how the story develops between the two and what it takes for them both to make it work.Jadehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05010634004221131416noreply@blogger.com
